At Delta State University, we realize that your student’s college education is an important investment. Some families choose to purchase tuition insurance through a program known as “GradGuard” which is owned and administered by Next Generation Insurance Group, LLC. Delta State University does not promote nor do we endorse this program, but we do make it available here for your convenience.
The Tuition Protection Plan* can reimburse your tuition payments, housing and meal fees, and other nonrefundable expenses if a student withdraws for reasons like:
- Serious covered illness or injury
- Covered psychological/mental health condition
- Covered death of tuition payer

Delta State University is not a party to the agreement. Insurance must be purchased prior to the last date to receive a 100 percent tuition refund for the term.

Complete withdrawal from all classes required and must be validated; documentation for all claimed expenses required; withdrawal for psychological/mental disorder requires a hospital admittance; physician recommendation to withdraw from institution is required and will be validated for withdrawal due to illness/injury or psychological/mental disorder.
